CIPHI Environmental Public Health Week Campaign

Hello CIPHI members,

We are thrilled to announce that Environmental Public Health Week 2023 is just two months away! This year’s EPHW theme is “Standing up to protect everyone’s health each and every day,” and we can’t wait to embark on this exciting campaign with all of you.

We would like to introduce the “I support the health of all Canadians by________” CIPHI EPHW Campaign, a member-generated campaign that will showcase the incredible work each of you does to ensure public safety. This campaign aims to highlight the true breadth and depth of Environmental Public Health Professionals’ contributions to the communities we serve.

This campaign will depict real CIPHI members and will capture the essence of what Environmental Public Health Professionals do every single day to protect the communities we serve. Whether you’re conducting water quality testing, performing daycare inspections, collaborating with restaurant owners, or inspecting personal service facilities and special events, we want to feature our CIPHI members hard at work for EPHW 2023. 

What do we need from CIPHI members? Please email advocacy@ciphi.ca the following:

• 1. A photo of yourself or a fellow CIPHI member engaged in important work.
• 2. Your response to the statement, “I support the health of all Canadians by_____.” Keep it concise and impactful!
• 3. Your first name, last name, and role 

For detailed instructions and examples of submissions, please refer to the attached document. If you are interested, please submit your photo and statement as soon as possible so we can share them for EPHW 2023!
