EHFC Announcement – Join Us for a Special Presentation!

| Dear CIPHI Members and Donors, The Environmental Health Foundation of Canada (EHFC) is pleased to invite you to a special virtual presentation with Doug Thompson, co-leader and founder of the Canadian Outreach Medical Multi Impact Team (COMMIT), a committee of the Rotary Club of Stratford Charitable Foundation. In 2023, the EHFC Board of Trustees and faithful donors raised $3,000 to support the Aquabox initiative, which provides emergency water filtration devices during natural disasters. In 2024, we collectively raised $2,500 for Aquabox and $2,500 in support of the COMMIT Eco-Stove project, which replaces open-fire cooking stoves and significantly improves the health of users, particularly women and children, who are frequently exposed to harmful smoke from traditional cooking methods. In this presentation, you will learn how your donation is making a direct impact on those living in Nicaragua. Doug will also touch on some of their other projects that the EHFC is supporting, such as the Aquabox project, and ways you can get directly involved in the important work that is being done to reduce health risks and improve health outcomes.
