Apply Now! – EHFC Student Bursary to attend CIPHI AEC

Dear CIPHI Student Members,

The Environmental Health Foundation of Canada (EHFC), the Charitable Division of CIPHI is pleased to announce the 2025 Student Bursary to Attend the CIPHI National Annual Educational Conference (AEC) being hosted in Kelowna, B.C., September 21-24, 2025.  

This bursary is an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a career in environmental public health to engage with professionals, expand their knowledge and build connections in the field.

The bursary is available through the generous support of direct donations from our donors and through Board fundraising activities. Since 2010 the EHFC has sponsored 104 students to attend the CIPHI National AEC totalling over $25,000 in financial support.

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

– CIPHI 2025 Student Member (proof required)
– Final year 2025-2026 student or 2024-2025 graduate (proof required)
– Proof of conference registration required

Key Details:

– First come basis contingent on all relevant documents provided at the time of application
– All travel and accommodation costs are the sole responsibility of the student/graduate
– Bursary only covers reimbursement of the student “early bird” registration fee which is $475.00 plus tax.

Reimbursement will be issued via cheque in person at the conference by an EHFC Board Trustee.

The 2025 CIPHI National AEC “early bird” registration deadline is before August 1st. The fee for CIPHI students this year is $475 + tax.  Please go to the CIPHI website for conference details and to complete the online conference registration. 

The deadline to submit an EHFC bursary application is August 1st and all required documentation must be uploaded at the time of the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
