It covers how cases were detected, how potential sources were identified and assessed, and the practical steps taken to control and reduce risk. The session also touches on some of the challenges that come with environmental sampling and wraps up with key lessons and takeaways that may be useful for public health practice more broadly. ![]() Dr. Rita Gad is an MD/PhD public health physician serving as the Regional Medical Officer of Health for the northern region of New Brunswick, a largely rural and francophone area.
